Bukan mudah untuk membesarkan anak sendirian selepas pemergian suami sejak 9 tahun lalu. Sudah tentu ianya cabaran besar buat Datuk Ziela Jalil.
Namun semua pengorbanan seorang ibu tabah ini ternyata berbaloi apabila anak sulungnya Puteri Julia Nabilan kini bergelar doktor.
Pelakon dan penerbit itu kongsikan berita gembira dan meluahkan rasa syukur dengan kejayaan anaknya.
Status pemilik Syarikat Pena Creative Sdn Bhd yang dimuat naik Ahad lalu turut dihujani dengan ucapan tahniah daripada rakan dan peminatnya.
Dalam pada itu Datuk Ziela, turut berkongsi status ditulis oleh Julia yang menceritakan suka duka sepanjang lima tahun pengajian di Royal College of Surgeons di Ireland pada 2012 sebelum menamatkan pengajian tahun ini.
Menurut anak gadisnya yang kini berusia 24 tahun, kejayaan ini juga sebenarnya adalah untuk ibu dan Allahyarham bapanya, bekas Menteri Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna, Megat Junid Megat Ayob.

There were ups and downs the whole way to get to where I stand today, but it was all worth it. I know I've got longer paths ahead of me, many other hurdles to get by, but Alhamdulillah I thank Allah for blessing me every inch of the way so far to reach this point, for I can never be here without His grace and blessings, and i pray that He remains with me every step of the way.
